About Us
Embrace Church, formerly known as Tongala Christian Fellowship, began in 1994. The name was changed to Embrace Church in 2015 to express our vision to embrace the community with God's love through our church services and programs.
Pastor Lyn Hope
Pastor Lyn Hope grew up in the town of Echuca, in Northern Victoria. In 1992 after 4.5 years of correspondence studies, she completed her Bible College Degree. Lyn was an assistant pastor for several years before accepting an invitation to be Senior Pastor in Tongala in October 2000.

Greg & Kim Hart
Greg and Kim, along with their two children Gabi and Thomas, live and work in Africa. For the past 13 years they have been raising up church leaders and developing communities.

Katrina & Isac Condesse
Katrina & Isac, along with their three children Gerron, Ethan and Kaitlyn, live and work in Beira, Mozambique. Through 'The Living Word Ministries' they provide church materials to children based on the Living Word of God, to help churches develop strong children's ministries.

John & Jenny Davidson
John and Jenny, along with their two sons Daniel and Matthew, live and work in Carnarvon, WA, Here, they share the gospel with their aboriginal community in association with Australian Aboriginal Outreach Ministries.

Teen Challenge
Through residential treatment and rehabilitation services, Teen Challenge endeavors to help men become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well and spiritually alive.

Our Sponsor Child
In 2009, Embrace Church sponsored a child through Compassion Australia. Rishi lives in Sri Lanka with his parents and two siblings. Our financial giving assists with his healthcare and education. Compassion Australia also provides an opportunity for each child to receive Christian teaching, discipleship, guidance and love.
